I started the course when I was suffering with long term effects of COVID - my physical symptoms were worsened by overwhelming anxiety. The course helped me to face the challenge of returning to my normal activities and I feel strengthened by knowing techniques that I can call on when needed.

Great programme with lots of ideas and ways to become more mindful, really enjoyed it. Takes a bit of effort to keep up with it but I thought most exercises were really helpful.

Practical, encouraging, doable, effective. Four qualities that shone out of the Be Mindful online programme and left me thinking it was well organised, well resourced and something that could be practised in its different forms whenever and wherever I wanted. The two tutors were calm, focused and supportive. and really knew their subject. I'd recommend the programme as a great template for de-stressing from today's wide range of pressures at home and at work. RD 13/7/20

I have been going through a very difficult time dealing with my husband who is not accepting that he has Dementia. I am his full time carer and have not been giving myself any time to look after myself. So much so, that I was overwhelmed by the situation and finding it difficult to cope. I'm so pleased that I took the time to spend on myself and have learnt some valuable lessons.

I really enjoyed this course, over the month i have looked forward to the next session, and with every session i have completed i have felt relaxed, it has taught me a lot about being mindful and the techinques to use have been excellent, i will continue to visit the library.

Doing this course makes you really think better and to stop beating yourself up about every little thing. Be kind to yourself. I would recommend doing it.

It's been an utter pleasure...I've not regretted a moment of this course..Its helped in so many ways.It isn't a cure and in some situations it might not be relevant to an issue that might arise in the future..but in many cases I'm sure it will.I have enjoyed this course and have learned things and have put in use methods that in all honesty I would have been at the very least sceptical about in the past..

Great course. If you are willing to put the time and effort in during the course, you will certainly reap the benefits. I did not understand until the end of the course, how well the sessions had actually impacted on myself to make a difference to how I was responding to daily life. It was not easy at times to notice why I was feeling internal sensations more acutely. However, I am beginning to understand this noticing more now which can only help to develop my mindfulness techniques and continued learning for the future.

I was at a pretty desperate time in my life. The mindful course has helped a little within the four weeks and that despite not fully practising it. I intend to carry on with it. It's definitely recommended.

Mindfulness is something everyone needs to be able to know how to practice. I wanted to be more aware myself to use in my own life but also to use with my patients who get very anxious , particularly about their breathing and health conditions. The sessions were good, the videos and pace of talk were good, kept me motivated to continue and do my homework and practise when I could. There was no pressure. It was gentle. Not a feeling of failure or inadequacy. I would recommend this to a colleague who is struggling with anxiety and depression now I have completed it. It was a great opportunity in lockdown. I have bought books before but with the online support and reminders during the week, I felt as if there were people keeping me focused on the mindfulness learning.

This has definitely helped me re-establish my daily mindfulness practise (I meditate every evening, now at 64 consecutive days). We are living in stressful times right now, so it's difficult to shut that out completely, but I feel much better at managing it now. Thank you Tessa & Ed, you have helped me to kick start my practise again & stick to it.

Really informative and well structured course. I think it's especially helpful for those new to mindfulness. As a yoga teacher, I found that I already use a lot of the techniques outlined in this course. This meant that I wasn't as challenged as I would have liked to. Nevertheless, I enjoyed this course and learned some new things too.

Great introduction to mindfulness techniques - really enjoyed the sessions and at a pace that I could handle! - Not complicated - although I certainly made a stronger connection with some parts more than others. I will miss the sessions but I am confident I will go on to study mindfulness further. Thanks guys I found this at a particularly difficult time and it gave me the start I needed towards self awareness.
