This course is brilliant as an introduction to mindfulness. I took the course as my first experience with mindfulness and it helped me to understand the principles of mindfulness meditation and how to bring a mindful attitude into everyday life. The length of sessions was just perfect to give me enough guidance while being able to fit them in a busy life. A truly transformative, life-changing experience!

I have learnt a lot from completing this course and most importantly I have learnt to be kind to myself. I have learnt the different feelings I experience are okay and then I have developed strategies to ease these anxieties and worries. The course was very interactive and I found this way of learning to be very engaging. Thank you for giving me the chance to recognise and learn new skills of mindfulness, they have really helped to ease my anxieties and I feel much more equipped to deal with the different situations that I will be faced with throughout life. I know I need to practise my newly learnt skills and remind myself daily about the parachute scenario you used to show the importance of practising. Thank you :-)

I began this course during lockdown in the UK, and it was at the end of a really tough period. I didn't really know why I was felt anxious a lot of time, and was feeling quite nervous about signing up to more formal types of therapy. This course provided the perfect bridge, allowing me to move at my own pace, and requiring me, not to focus on solving my anxiety, but just to be with it, and bring it under control in a really simple effective way. This felt unintimidating, and I now feel much more confident and have signed up for another online CBT course to learn some different approaches as well.

It took me a year between the initial sign-up for the online course, and actually paying to do the full course. I shouldn't have left it more than a week. The course has been invaluable, and an excellent foundation to the practice to Mindfulness. I really enjoyed the structure of the course, the videos, and the emails and the exercises. All were motivational. The fact that you could repeat any of the weeks helped to cement the practices and theory. It's really important to dedicate time to complete the course, but the impact and rewards are far-reaching. I will continue with Mindfulness practice using the information in the library. I can't recommend this course highly enough.

Be Mindful’s mindfulness course has been a great introduction to practicing mindfulness, it has allowed me to understand the principles while fitting it easily into my everyday life. A very supportive, calming, and practice based course, with easy guidance. I found the whole concept of mindfulness, particularly the breathing exercises extremely beneficial. After 4 weeks I feel considerably more settled and more able to face the challenges of every day life. Good to know I can always revisit the work I have done. I will try to incorporate Mindfulness into my daily life.

Absolutely loved this course. I was already quite interested in mindfulness but this taught me in more depth and love the various weekly activities to do. Also actually completing the reflections and writing out things in the journal really helped cement the ideas. I feel far less stressed than when I started the course from regular practise and just being more aware in general now.

I was really disappointed that all of the recorded clips weren't available once I had completed the course. I thought that the course information said the resources would be. By nature, a stressed or anxious person is not always able to focus fully and sometimes a person needs to hear a message repeatedly to embed it. Having not been able to concentrate and not now being able to access every single recording, this app ceases to be of use to me.

Being furloughed during a pandemic seemed like the perfect time to dig deeper into mindfulness . I had experienced one half-day course previously and knew in broad terms a little about it. I have a tendency to over-worry, over-think and rely on holidays or 'special days' to enjoy the magic of everyday living. I struggle with sleep (regular lack of it) and get regularly stressed out by work and family situations. I have just completed this course and am so glad I did. Hard work, but thank you Be Mindful Online for helping me re-set and finally start the journey - I have learned techniques, challenged myself and built in some discipline to get me started ! This will be a lifelong journey and I am keen to learn much more.

I was doubtful at first but found the course very user friendly. It proceeded at the right pace. I found the body scan and mindful movement especially calming. The first breathing excercise was useful but the second a bit too long. I suffer from the chronic pain of an autoimmune condition and hypertension and I believe the course has help me cope. I will continue for the next month and hope to see further improvements. Thank you.

The presenters are such lovely people I actually felt they were talking to only me. I have learned lessons and strategies that will be with me for life. Being able to manage stress and handle situations is a skill and when I started this course I was not aware of how life changing it would be. I urge people to stick with it, sometimes I felt a bit silly (when mindfully walking); but it has been worth it. Practice, practice and practice some more. When trying the meditations I could not last more than thirty seconds before thoughts came into my head. now, however, having practiced for quite a few weeks I am able to meditate for longer and found the breath meditation really useful if I wake in the night. I used to fall asleep doing the full body scan but have worked out a way of sitting up to do it. I am now reading more about the subject, gaining more examples of how I can lead my life and handle whatever life throws at me. Stick with it, even though it may feel at first like trying to learn a new language and someone trying to make you 'put the breaks I found it helps me to slow down, take stock and more importantly for me, when I begin to feel the overwhelming panic or fear I now know what to do. I have strategies, I have something to fall back on! I probably wont use everything I have learned but feel I now have a tool box full of things that I can pull out of the bag when needed. I found the course very helpful overall and it was very user friendly. I know I will take the bits that worked well for me forward in my life and I think that’s the important bit - to identify what works for you and find where you can incorporate it into your life. For me the shorter exercises worked best but I found I was using parts of the longer exercises too just adapting them to my situation. Some of the breathing exercises developed and fitted nicely alongside visualisation practices I have learnt previously In my life. This has already proved to be an invaluable tool at times of stress and I know will carry on being so in the future.
