I've been practising mindfulness for a year now. I read a small book about it and started, but I wanted to know more, so done this course. The videos helped massively, actually seeing someone demonstrate what to do helped me further. I've since moved on to reading Full Catastrophe Living, and feel that it is a must for anyone wishing to continue further.

I have really enjoyed this course and found the practices can be built into your day even with a newborn! This course is tremendous value for money and has had a positive impact on my life. I now incorporate the sitting meditation into my morning routine and have been regularly performing the meditation for about 6 weeks. It takes a while for the practices to take effect so persevere, but I would highly recommend the course to others. What's more, my posture has also improved which is helping to breathe better in general. Highly recommended!!

This was a very helpful course. It was well constructed and delivered by the team, and although it was delivered on-line, it felt as if there was a personal link, because of the videos and the emails which were sent occasionally. It was recommended by my GP to help me deal with anxiety following an 'out of the blue' heart attack just at the time of my retirement. I would recommend it to anyone who is having to come to terms with an unexpected serious health issue. It has helped me to examine my feelings and deal with issues which were threatening to affect my mental health.

I have enjoyed the course, sometimes I felt it was not right for me and that nothing was changing but I stuck with it and continued with it. I helped me realise that I do not need to work myself up over areas in my life because all I need to do is simply calm down breathing gently and focus on me for a few moments then I feel ready to move forward more relaxed and calmer me.

I contacted the Be Mindful Online course before I started because I had a brain haemorrhage and a speech and language disability (aphasia), 22 years ago, at the age of 28 and I wondered if I could access the course or not. The staff were so supportive and said I could do the course at my own pace. I've just finished the online course and it is changing my life quite radically and I shall be learning and practising as a new way of life! Thank you and I would highly recommend it!

A very accessible course which has kept me on track and focused. I experience high levels of stress in my job and have had ongoing anger issues as well as bouts of depression. This course has helped me to significantly overcome these issues; regular meditation creates a subtle braking system on my impetuous emotions and I'm kinder to myself and others. Frankly, it has made me a better person.

I am a GP about to semi retire early as I have not despite every best effort been able to make the job which I love bearable I did the course out of curiosity to see if it had something to offer me as well as the patients I strive to help It did help me and I would feel able to suggest it as an option to some of my patients I liked the body scan and the sitting meditation particularly As a trained dancer in the past, focusing into a discomfort or pain was interesting experience. I will definitely use some of the mindfulness practices taught in the future. The course is well constructed and despite being on line does somehow manage to feel personal, except of course it isn't really, Tessa and Ed don't know me!

The course was not exactly what I expected to be, I thought initially that it was going to be worthless. But I have to admit that it worked to me. I feel more conscious about what I am doing, saying, feeling, and it helped to made me feel relaxed and aware about my feelings. I actually managed to put down in words what is exactly the cause of my anxiety and depression, and analyse it, which I´ve never been able to do before. I can really feel a mindful change in myself. This course was recommended by my GP as I was going through a particularly anxious and stressful time in my work. I had never engaged in anything like this previously and was very sceptical. I found the body scan difficult to grasp initially but soon warmed to it and looked forward to doing it each morning. I try to to do the Mindful Movement each morning and find that it gets me ready for the day ahead. I now find myself mindful breathing without giving it too much thought and I seem to be able to appreciate much more of what is happening around me in respect of sights and sounds. I have become much less anxious and stressed and life is so much better. I enjoy the Sitting Meditation when I am having some "me time". Thank you both for introducing me to this way of life.

I was beginning to think nothing was going to ever help me shift the fairly constant feeling of anxiety (chest pain in my case) which was a pretty miserable way to spend most days. Useful, and I can feel some benefits which I am sure will grow. Nice to take a step back and gain more compassion towards myself and my thoughts. I think the sensation of giving myself more space within a situation is subtle, and I hope it will grow a bit more. I think this is already well-developed in me but I think it could go further through being more conscious of mindfulness techniques. I am going to be more aware of activities which energise me and those which don't. Something I have not considered much in the past.

I found this course ideal to fit into my busy life. It's easy to follow and easy to catch up on if you miss a few days. The downloadable audio guides are particularly helpful and I have come out of the course feeling much more positive & able to deal with the stresses of life. For me the simple act of mindful breathing works wonders and I am delighted that I now recognise when I need to do it and that I do it gladly as I know the immense positive feeling it gives me.
