So I joined the course to feel less anxious and stressed and to help low moods. I thought Tessa and Ed were great - I really like how the course was set out with videos making it more interesting. It definitely takes a lot of effort, and practice and patience. Things I never payed attention to before, I pay attention to now, and when I'm in a stressful situation I used to just react - now I count to 10 and don't react instantly. I also feel so much more present by concentrating in on what's here and now. I definitely feel less anxious and feel like I've got some tools to help me in my mindfulness journey going forwards. Great course, highly recommend. Thank you for doing this course.

This course gave me new tools to be more peaceful and relaxed. It helped me to be more aware about my body and breathing. I can recommend it. My stress level was lower after completing 4 weeks online course.

I hesitated to complete this testimonial because I feel that I am a long way yet from understanding what benefits I might derive from my mindfulness learning experience. However, I can say at this early stage that I have greatly appreciated doing this course, and do feel that it has been a good thing for me. I think it has already brought some degree of calmness into my daily life and I am fairly confident that I will derive more from the experience as time goes by. I look forward to mindfulness being part of the routine of my daily life. I heartily recommend it to anyone interested in exploring Mindfulness.

When I started the course I was a total wreck could not even do my daily things, but with the course it locked in my brain and I found it very helpful, I now feel that I am learning everyday to manage my stress and depression and panic attacks, every day is a new beginning and I feel much better. I started this course with a complete open mind not sure what to expect. However I soon realized that I was given the tools to control and manage my anxiety which I will now use on a weekly basis. It made me more aware that my anxiety is totally triggered by my inner self sometimes for no reason at all. I highly recommend to anyone to follow this mindfulness path.

After having some difficulties dealing with the isolation of living on my own during the March 2020 lockdown, I decided I needed to take some action in case my town got lockdown-ed like that again. I looked at meditation courses and came across this one. I chose it because it looked short and practical and it is accredited by The NHS. I was not disappointed.... The course is full of useful video clips, with a series of exercises you can do to audio clips. The audio clips can be downloaded to your PC if you want. None of the video clips exceed 30 minutes, from memory, and none of the exercises exceed 30 minutes. So the clips can be fitted in pretty easily into a busy schedule. The whole series of exercises, taken together, give you a bunch of tools to use as and when you need to break out of that vicious downward spiral of your mind going round and round and not being able to get out if it... The more you practise the tools the more useful they will become. Certainly after 4 weeks I cannot say mindfulness is second nature to me yet, but I will keep up with the practice as already I have felt the benefit of these techniques. I commend the course to you

I found the videos, journaling, emails, and audios very helpful. The design was well thought of and the methods use were highly effective. Tessa and Ed were also very clear and articulate.

Not wishing to stereotype but as a man I feel I am allowed to be on this occasion. I along with many men in western society find it extremely challenging or near impossible to talk about and or share their emotions / feelings and mental health. I was one of these and my world, as I knew it was shattered by a cataclysmic emotional and mental health eruption at the beginning of 2020; anxiety, depressions, suicidal ideation. I couldn't talk about, share what was going on for me internally, not even to the people whom I loved. I could have reached for the bottle / drugs / ran away / become a recluse but I sought after much hesitation, thoughts that I was invincible, that I could manage and avoidance help and support. (I would urge all who read this to do the same - seek help and support, you do not have to be alone) During the interceding months I have received therapy and prescribed medication these were helping to some extent but I felt that I was stuck; almost like walking through treacle. Being inquisitive and wanting to find something / anything which would assist me and provide me with tools to enable me to achieve / improve my mental health and develop a better understanding of my emotions and responses I began searching the WEB. I found Be Mindful website or more accurately a 4 week mindfulness course. This was not a miraculous find but what it has enabled me to do is to sensitively and non-judgementally develop my awareness and understanding of myself, to treat myself with kindness and sensitivity whilst providing me with practical tools that I was able to use at my own pace. These tools have enabled me to continue my recovery but importantly provided me with an awareness and insight into how I can continue my life's journey in a different way. I thoroughly recommend the four week course, it will require commitment and motivation but in my opinion it is a great starting point to think about your whole well-being in a different, kind, sensitive and non-judgmental way and provides some great tools to help you manage your responses to life's stresses, thoughts and feelings. In short - there is only one of you, if you do not invest in yourself who is going to do it for you! As for me, I am now searching for additional courses / material to build on what Be Mindful has provided. WHY! because the investment is for ME and will also benefit those important and special in my life. I found the course very beneficial to me. I started using meditation and mindful breathing as a tool to help me overcome my addictions, but as life got more hectic I slowly drifted away from the practice which resulted in my stress and anxiety going through the roof. This course has helped re-center my intent and focus in regard to my own personal self care and has reminded me to stick to what works.

A very well designed course, both educationally and aesthetically! Simple to follow and interact with, even cross platform. I enjoyed all the activities and really understood why I was doing everything that I was doing. Even if I found that something in particular didn't help me personally I understood why it might help someone else or even myself in the future. I feel confident to continue my mindful journey on my own now after this month and am feeling very excited about it!
