Basic introduction to mindfulness practice in an easy to follow format. Even though having practiced mindfulness for a while I found it worthwhile and enjoyed learning slightly different (new to me) ways and analogies to describe things. Never having done any structured course in mindfulness I enjoyed having the gentle guidance from Ed and Tess through the videos and emails. Thank you

This course was recommended by a like minded friend of long standing. He recognised in what he had achieved, something that would be of great benefit to me at this time of the CV19 Pandemic. Before I started this course about 4 weeks into lock down/Isolation, I was almost a wreck and having had to revert to medication for Anxiety and panic Attacks. I was scared rigid. I had very few strategies for dealing with the 'threats' and fears associated with what was happening. I had stopped listening or watching any news at all; I could not deal with that continuous torrent of horror. The I got the Course started and the Body Scan saved my sanity. I found the presentation so calming and kind that it made a huge difference almost immediately and has given me strength and confidence to look at things 'beyond my control' in a whole different light. Thank you, as Coldplay once almost sang, for 'fixing me'. This course may seem daunting and possibly weird at first, but once you have actually had your first mindful meal and done a Body Scan every day for a week (and more of course), you just want to have more and get more things to do. I must thank my friend for his generosity in sharing this with me four weeks ago. He too has contributed to giving me strength, understanding and a Tool bank for the rest of my life.

A very good and useful course to do - I could do it in my own time and also access the meditation mindfulness after I had finished the course. I also thought it was worth it price-wise!

I completed the course 6 weeks ago but since then, abnormally, we have been mostly in lock-down due to the Covid-19 crisis so, in these strange circumstances, it is difficult for me to fairly evaluate my reaction to the course. Nevertheless, I am glad to have taken and completed the course. I have continued to practice some of the exercises on a daily basis and I intend to refer back to the library section of the website regularly as I will make mindfulness part of daily life. I have been prone to occasional anxiety attacks throughout my adult life, so I am hoping that mindfulness will be beneficial to me in the long-term when life returns to normal.

I was a bit apprehensive doing this course as I didn’t feel it would benefit me in any way but what a surprise to find that it actually helps me to de stress and actually assist me to deal with situations I used to find tricky.

A really good course for making me take a step back and think about things differently. I like how they set activities to do each week, but it didn't feel like too much. I was feeling very overwhelmed so that helped me do everything. And there was variety and encouragement to see which types of activities you preferred and helped the most. They have nice voices. It's quite interactive, it was nice to see my scores in the assessment before, after and 1 month afterwards and see how in general my mental health has improved - admittedly I had a slight increase in depression in the month since finishing the course (but with lockdown, maybe not a surprise) although compared to before the course, I still had an overall improvement. The main thing I need to do now is keep on doing the exercises!

It is now over a year since I first started the course and I continue to feel fine. The things I learned have really helped and I still do at least one exercise per day and if I do become stressed, which is now rare I do a breathing exercise. We are now into the third week of this lock down due to the virus and I know I am handling it better than I would have done if I had not taken the course. It is the best thing I have done.

The course has been helpful and supportive and delivered in a calming manner. Incorporating mindfulness into regular routines is helpful and I also go back to the sitting meditation frequently after the course finished. It has been what I needed to help with general anxiety.

I was fairly sceptical about things like this, but thought I'd give it a go. I have big mood swings and have found some of the excersises helpful. It's not a quick fix and in the month of the course I would say only a slight change in my mindset, but I will try to carry on and believe it will help me in the longer term.

I benefitted greatly from taking the course. The videos were clear and with the right amount of content. The exercises were useful. I found the meditations really useful and use them on an ongoing basis.

To often , we feel trapped within our circumstances , some of which may never practically be altered . Taking this course has given me a gift of self confidence that even in the toughest of times , I have the ability to self sooth, through mindfulness I am beginning to self care, to calm my exhausted mind and actually enjoy the peace that comes with emptying the mind trash. Gift yourself with this course, I have a feeling my life is going to be the better for it

When I first started the course, I didn’t know what to expect. I found out I was quite stressed and a bit anxious and a bit depressed. Once I started the course, I got into it and started looking forward to doing the practice and I started seeing results, it’s like my eyes have been opened as to have busy my mind was... now I see things from a different perspective and I am definitely less stressed and anxious and depressed...

I would highly recommend this course to anyone who suffers from any level of anxiety and stress. It is clearly explained and gives supportive guidance together with easy to listen to exercises and meditations. I found it immensely enjoyable to do and have noticed the change in just 4 weeks. A great resource to have continued access to the course material.
I have been practising mindfulness on and off for a while and I thought the course encapsulated all
the most important basic aspects of mindfulness and made it very accessible on a daily basis, It has built up my ability to practice daily and proven to me how it has reduced my overall stress levels. I will look forward to continue to use it as best I can and improve my confidence to manage my anxiety and negative thought processes. Thank you.

I found this course to be really helpful at times, it teaches you how to analyze certain things that may be blocking your judgment, thus showing you how to overcome certain obstacles that are affecting your day to day life-style.
