The Be Mindful Online course was excellent for a beginner like myself. Though I spent a great deal of time away from the course since when I first started, I thought it was important for me to finish. This course was the first for me on the topic of mindfulness. I had been wanting to try a course like this for quite some time and Be Mindful was definitely a good choice. Breathing in and out should be so easy but once I started the course I realised that often, in my daily life, I was holding my breath, which is not healthy, at least for me. I got so much out of this month long course that I will keep it up. It has made me think about being in the moment and also to be kind to myself and find ways to make life easier. Mindfulness is not a quick fix; it is a way of life and it will take me a long time to master it but I am going to try. Thank you Tessa and Ed for your words of wisdom.

The course design and platform are really high quality with thoughtful touches that show someone has put a lot of work in. The tutors in the video tutorials are calming and delivered professionally. The course provides some excellent instruction and help in this field and I felt it was a great aid and resource to me. Some great resources also to re-visit. No pressure, just encouragement. This course has been incredibly helpful during a very traumatic time, it may have taken me a little longer than the 4 weeks (more like 4 months) to complete, but sadly my mum died. I feel this course has been incredibly helpful in managing my grief and stress and keeping me grounded when I've been overwhelmed. Thank you.

I found the course valuable. At first it was difficult because very shortly after I started it, I had an unexpected serious accident which disrupted my everyday schedule. I had medical appointments and days when the pain was too much and I was simply 'tense' incase I twitched the wrong nerve. But I found that the build up of the copies of exercises in the library was especially helpful to me because it gave me the flexibility to schedule my introduction to the exercises which I would have otherwise missed. The course had very welcome flexibility and I learned how to use that. I like the visual presentation very much. The greys were great in helping me to concentrate and of course, the neutral but amiable tones of the presenters. I am keen to practice further and to look for online, textual and local resources.

This course has been excellent. It has provided me with valuable tools and practices to use when dealing with stressful situations in daily life. I now look forward to my meditation practices as this give me time to be mindful and provides calmness in a busy non- stop world. I can now get out of the auto pilot mode and appreciate each moment as it arises.

I have found the course very useful and I will continue to use the relaxation and breathing techniques as they complement the yoga I do. I hadn't realised that the habit I have of switching off and looking at a tree, cloud, etc. was mindfulness.

After a slow start repeating week 1 to do it properly then also week 2, by week 3 I found it was easier to fit in the formal practices. Also I joined Meditainment, which is a more accessible and fun form of meditation - as also developed by the same webgroup it's a surprise it's not signposted somewhere on this site! Really glad to have finally incorporated Mindfulness into my life after planning to for a considerable time...

A really useful course which introduces you to an understanding of Mindfulness through explanation, practical guidance and application. Each session is delivered in a 'bite size' way so that you can fit it into a busy schedule and/or catch up easily from where you left off. Highly recommended!

A very useful, practical course for a beginner like me. A well thought through course - I have no negative comments. It's all there for you: information, support, videos, a library, a diary; I looked forward to each session. And if you can't remember, or want to see something again, the practices are still there for you after the course ends. Highly recommended.
