I found the course valuable. At first it was difficult because very shortly after I started it, I had an unexpected serious accident which disrupted my everyday schedule. I had medical appointments and days when the pain was too much and I was simply 'tense' incase I twitched the wrong nerve. But I found that the build up of the copies of exercises in the library was especially helpful to me because it gave me the flexibility to schedule my introduction to the exercises which I would have otherwise missed. The course had very welcome flexibility and I learned how to use that. I like the visual presentation very much. The greys were great in helping me to concentrate and of course, the neutral but amiable tones of the presenters. I am keen to practice further and to look for online, textual and local resources.

This course has been excellent. It has provided me with valuable tools and practices to use when dealing with stressful situations in daily life. I now look forward to my meditation practices as this give me time to be mindful and provides calmness in a busy non- stop world. I can now get out of the auto pilot mode and appreciate each moment as it arises.

I have found the course very useful and I will continue to use the relaxation and breathing techniques as they complement the yoga I do. I hadn't realised that the habit I have of switching off and looking at a tree, cloud, etc. was mindfulness.

After a slow start repeating week 1 to do it properly then also week 2, by week 3 I found it was easier to fit in the formal practices. Also I joined Meditainment, which is a more accessible and fun form of meditation - as also developed by the same webgroup it's a surprise it's not signposted somewhere on this site! Really glad to have finally incorporated Mindfulness into my life after planning to for a considerable time...

A useful, informative and progressive course that embraces a number of different Mindfulness exercises. There is something for everyone. The course is particularly supportive, and the messaging and e-mails encourage you to continue with the course.

A really useful course which introduces you to an understanding of Mindfulness through explanation, practical guidance and application. Each session is delivered in a 'bite size' way so that you can fit it into a busy schedule and/or catch up easily from where you left off. Highly recommended!

The course has helped me to focus on what matters most in life instead of worrying about what might happen. I am much more relaxed and I thank Tessa and Ed for that. I am finding the book recommended, The Sacred Path of The Warrior, very good to dip into.

A very useful, practical course for a beginner like me. A well thought through course - I have no negative comments. It's all there for you: information, support, videos, a library, a diary; I looked forward to each session. And if you can't remember, or want to see something again, the practices are still there for you after the course ends. Highly recommended.

It has helped, but I do often get stressed and anxious and feel that I am not progressing as much as I want to. I am often unhappy and constantly worried that I'm being stupid or forgetful or muddled.

I found it helpful in acknowledging and accepting my pain. Life does go on and can be enjoyed - just finding a way to cope is great. Recognising when I am feeling a bit down and distracting myself.

I accessed the Be Mindful Online course as an introduction to an 8-week course I was going to attend in person. This has proved very beneficial as it gave me a real headstart. The Online course helped me to understand the principles and basics of 'being mindful'. The benefits are subtle especially in the beginning but with perseverance they are extremely worthwhile. My levels of anxiety have made a marked improvement and although I am still struggling with some aspects of my life I feel much more in control. Thanks for a great course that is easy to follow and user-friendly.

I really enjoyed this course! I especially liked that I could take a test at the beginning and the end and see how much progress I have made. I am encouraged to continue to go forward with my mindfulness practice!

Thank you for showing me the way back to a practice I have neglected for years. Bipolar/slight brain damage from a road traffic accident have impacted on me, along with several health issues, but you have reignited a flame which had dwindled and all but gone out. I am willing and endeavouring to incorporate "mindfulness" back into my life.

I love the structure of this online course. It's a great place to start learning about mindfulness. This course has helped me become more aware of what is happening around me and the immediate choices I can make, by being kind and gentle to myself. I have found mindfulness very helpful in helping me deal with difficult situations. I'm practicing mindfulness every day, many times during the day. Understanding the concept of being mindful has taught me how to be gentle and kind to myself. I still have a long way to go, I guess it's a journey and I'm very happy I'm on this new journey.

Tessa and Ed are very motivating and gentle. I use the breathing exercises. I have been dealing with health problems, including chronic pain. Still seeking solutions but learned recently that there were none. After 7 years of sick, I have become depressed and will see a therapist. I have many friends and interests, but the pain and weakness limits my participation in many activities. Thank you for the course. The videos were succinct, the material was chunked into manageable segments, and the resources allowed further practice.

Although I have practised meditation on and off for the past few years, I have found it difficult and frustrating sometimes when I couldn't concentrate. I have now learned to be gentle and compassionate with myself. This has meant I look forward to my practise instead of doing it in the hope of later results.

I really liked this course as it was at a pace that was easy. The lecturers had lovely voices and came over as gentle caring people. I like the clear exercises suggested and also the "homework". I hope that I will practice mindfulness every day.

This course I think has been helpful to me in starting to deal with my anxiety and depression issues. I would recommend it to people uncertain about what mindfulness is or how to begin it.
