I decided to do this course during a time things at work were really stressful and it was the middle of the lockdown. I found the course was easy to follow and fitted in with my lifestyle as it was online and used videos and audio. I wasn’t able to complete the course in 4 weeks it took me 7 weeks but I found the material useful and it made me reflect on how I was managing my stress and how I was responding. Over the time of the course and following the exercises I felt calmer and more accepting of work and family pressure as well as being more aware. I haven’t always followed though on the exercises as much as I should, since ending the course but it is something i know it is my ‘go to’ when I start to feel anxious about something. I would recommend this course.

For me, the events of a particular week or day can fluctuate my state of mind. Throughout the course, if I was to do a daily quiz, the results would be up and down but the course has helped me to focus and conduct a "reality" check of a particular situation and has helped me deal with a particular situation even if if its something I cant control. The body scan works for me when I'm struggling to sleep. I think about my body starting at my toes and I can't recall a time where I get to my head without having fallen asleep.

I have really enjoyed all levels of this course . It has given me a clearer vision of myself how to cope with everyday situations using easy and very effective breathing exercises . I have found meditation and these relaxation techniques to be highly beneficial and therefore highly recommend this course to anyone. We live in difficult and changing times .practicing mindfulness is truly the way forward to a happier you ... enjoy.

I have completely enjoyed the course and found lots of useful skills that have certainly helped over this stressful time. I have even shared some of the techniques with my grandson and he now takes himself of to bed, does some mindful relaxation such as meditation and body scan and sleeps well for the first time in 7 years. We have recently had a very stressful family time and without mindfulness I don't think I would have coped half as well as I did. The course was very well balanced and I could learn and practice each stage at my own pace before moving onto the next. Thank you for the lifelong skills learnt.

I learned a lot from this course, but I want to reiterate that it definitely takes commitment to complete. Even though the instruction segments take only an hour a week, the assignments take about half an hour every day, as they have the greatest impact when integrated into your daily routine. The results are well worth this time and effort, for anyone interested! As you take this course, I also recommend rewatching the lessons that you find deepest and most impactful, before completing the course in the wrap up week. If you are looking at taking this course, I definitely recommend doing it; just keep these things in mind so that you get the most out of it!

I found the Mindfulness course to be very helpful in becoming mindful and starting a Mindfulness practice that's easy to implement into one's lifestyle. It's simple and practical and does not take heaps of time to do either. The content is easy to understand and focused on getting the message across in plain & simple language. The practical tools and tips shared are easy to incorporate into one's lifestyle.

A year into the Covid-19 pandemic, I was experiencing a serious resurgence of an anxiety disorder that had been kept under control since originally seeking help several years prior. Due to not being able to access help in the usual channels very easily due to the circumstances, I found this course and decided to try it out. I found the guided exercises immediately helpful in establishing a mindfulness practice that helped me cope in extremely difficult circumstances - it gave me tools that enabled me to regain some sense of control and direction in my day-to-day life that had been previously engulfed by anxiety. Upon completion, the circumstances were still extremely difficult and difficulty still lies ahead, but the course and the exercises I will continue to do have enabled me to re-establish a meaningful connection to my daily life and feel like I am better equipped to function in an uncertain world going forward.

Because the course was online, I was able to participate and practice almost every day. The videos allowed me to hear the instructors' guidance during practice, which was very useful. I found myself looking forward to my daily practice during the course.

Be Mindful was an easy course to follow and well presented by both Tessa and Ed. It not only demonstrated how much we miss in absorbing the pleasures and blessings in life often led by stress affecting our mood and ability to cope on a day to day. The 4 weeks were gentle and productive with tips, videos to view and practical exercises to follow. Any enquiries were responded to very quickly and the course remains available online to access afterwards.
