I was pleased to see that my stress, anxiety and something else (depression?) levels had all reduced by the end of the course. This was truly surprising because I had received some extremely disturbing news during the final two weeks, which had possibly distressing implications.

thank you for the course - as you say, it is all about practice. I hope to keep it up and I am sure I feel better. It is very difficult re-educating yourself, especially a mind that is constantly racing, so thank you I will keep up the practices, they will help us and our overall mental health and physical health probably. This has a been a useful course and helped me to get clarity on unhelpful thoughts over the last couple of months. I found the early exercises less helpful, but definitely recommend the meditative breathing. I would recommend this course for anyone who is feeling overwhelmed and stressed for whatever reason.

I like giving myself my own space and time to just be. I find listening to the audios and doing different exercises very calming and therapeutic. It helps me to let go and be in the moment. I feel it is doing me good mentally which in turn will be helping me to feel better physically. I know that practicing the Mindfulness exercises is something that takes commitment and that the benefits of doing the exercises on a regular basis may take quite a long time to become really noticeable. I have been to counselling sessions for different things throughout the past 25 years and I am still learning more about myself every day - it is an ongoing process. I view the changing of my mindset through doing the Mindfulness exercises in the same way that I view the changing of my mindset through going to my counselling sessions. I am learning new ways of thinking and dealing with issues that are going on in my life and this process will continue throughout the rest of my life.

I've a way to go yet at achieving a mindfulness approach but I do feel that I have something to turn to, an anchorage which will help me at times when I feel overwhelmed and not knowing where to turn. I now feel that I have somewhere where I can at least attempt a safe harbourage.

This course really helped me get back on track. I used to practice mindfullness but had fell out of the habit. As a consequence i was feeling stressed and lacking clarity in my life. I had forgottten how important it was to take time out and listen to my body. Unitll i discovered this course that is.
