The course is brilliantly prepared and presented. Thank you Tessa and Ed. I found it annoying that while I could control some of the course timings and lesson schedule, the course prevented me from rushing through it. The somewhat flexible yet control timing was good for me and I learn from it. I’ve found the course a great introduction to mindfulness. I expect to pursue further course/study/practice in the future.

This course has been invaluable to me. It is very user friendly and accessible and easy to fit in to the demands of even the busiest lives! There is a really good mixture of different activities. I found the meditations particularly useful and as the course went on, the words Ed and Tessa use in them, like being kind to yourself and 'mindful curiosity', made more and more sense to me. I also thought the emails they sent to you each week added a real personal touch. I was really amazed to see how much my stress and anxiety levels had gone down at the end of the course and will definitely continue to incorporate the exercises into my daily routine. I think if you are looking and at least interested then this is a start on your journey. Take the time you need to complete it, you will find it helpful and makes you think about things in a different way. You might find some areas harder than others and some days harder than others. You will also feel exposed as you allow the changes in your mind to widen, don't be concerned, embrace it and enjoy it...you are in good hands.

I have really enjoyed the course and was amazed to find how little connection I had between mind and body until I did the course. It can be scary, but in a good way as you start to realise how it feels to be truly present. Some practice some days felt difficult but the gentle guidance really helps.

Because I'm a full time carer I have little opportunity to leave home to attend outside events. Having an online mindfulness course was invaluable. I have heard from many people how mindfulness had helped them but was still sceptical that it could help me. I was so wrong. Stressful events will always happen and life will always have challenging, unplanned moments, but going through the course has helped me step back from my autonomic responses. I can't control events, but can control my responses and this course has really helped me learn how.

This course is extremely user friendly and flexible. You can dip in and out at your own pace. You can re-do a week if you feel you need more time to practice the exercises or understand the concepts. I have really enjoyed taking part and feel motivated to endeavour to use some aspect of mindfulness daily, even if only the 3 minute breathing space. Thank you for what is hopefully a lifelong experience.

Although not new to Mindfulness practice, I found this an excellent refresher course that has encouraged me to continue my practice with renewed enthusiasm. The mindfulness course has helped me to regain control over my emotions. I was reaching a point where I was just so overwhelmed that I cried practically every day. I thought there was no way out. I had tried counselling twice and self-help books (at least three) but nothing was working. This course allowed me to move at my own pace. I was able to go back to previous weeks if I felt I had not done the practices properly. I now feel like I use these strategies in everyday life which is what I couldn't do before. This course gradually helped me integrate mindfulness in to my life and I feel so much better for it.

Personally I have found the course of great benefit. I work in the emergency ambulance services and each shift presents unscheduled stressful situations.
