I chose this course after finding it on the NHS website. I have not been disappointed. A course easy to follow. Easy to fit into a daily routine. I had some stressful times during the four weeks and although I struggled, the fledgling practices were very helpful. Would definitely recommend.

I have enjoyed doing this course. I have moved on from feeling negative, hopeless and helpless about life to feeling positive, happy and ready to cope with whatever life throws at me! Some days the course was harder than others to deal with but it has been worth it.

I was willing to give the course a go as I can see the benefit of dealing with stress especially at work but I am not a very stressful person. I think I would prefer a face to face course as I am a people person. I found some of the information useful and I have helped one of my friends who is going through a tough time at present. I am not a fan of online courses but it is a start to getting you to think in a different way about stressful situations.

An excellent course. Thank you for the gentle reminders to keep going! It has taken me about 6 years to get to the end with some very long breaks but I have come a long way and my life is completely different and much improved. I think mindfulness has something most people could benefit from. I would encourage anyone to give it a serious try. By doing it online you can do it when you have time and space unlike going to a class and feeling you have lost touch by not attending some sessions so give up. Be assured, you might think you have given up on the online course but they won’t give up on you. Thank you for that!

I started online Be Mindful whilst suffering with work related stress. I almost completed the course but with the help of Be Mindful I was able to manage my stress much better and understood why I let my stress and anxiety get hold of me. This is why it has taken me so long to do the final session! I am now retired but honestly believe that being mindful enabled me to get to a position that I was mentally well and retired because I wanted to and not because my job was too stressful and I couldn’t cope.

I found the course to be a really useful introduction to Mindfulness and I have recommended it to many people. I particularly liked the mix of videos, audio recordings and written information, which made it feel interactive and hence more engaging than just reading a book. I now practise mindfulness most days and have found that I am more present and relaxed as a result. Thanks very much Tessa and Ed.

To begin with I was sceptical about how helpful I would find this course, however after the first week I began to notice subtle changes in my 'frame of mind' and felt myself seeking opportunities to practice the techniques that had been taught during times of the day when I felt under pressure. As the weeks went on I felt more and more that this course was providing me with a highly beneficial toolkit to use throughout the rest of my life to help me to manage stressful situations. I have found the Be Mindful course helpful in a number of ways. It has helped me slow down and find more moments of stillness in my life. Also, it has helped me deal with stress and anxiety. It hasn't made these things go away, but it has enabled me to have a better attitude to them when they do occur. It has enabled me to respond, rather than react, to situations.

When I first started this course, I was somewhat sceptical about how helpful it would be. I followed the practical sessions to the letter and practised every day. Four weeks later, I have to say it has made such a positive difference to how I cope with my anxiety and stress levels. Comparing the assessment at the start and end of the course proves how much this has helped me. I still have a way to go with my anxiety but I am so thankful for this course and the fact it has put me on such a positive road. Thank you!
