I would recommend this course. It is diffinately helpful in guiding you to be more relaxed in one's self. I think it teaches what is important and what isn't to let go. I found it a great new habit that is beneficail to the sense of self. It has made me more aware to others' and my surroundings. It gives a sense of self empowerment.

I began this cause after a difficult relationship break up and also after a major op. I found it really useful at helping me deal with day to day stress and anxiety. I can see my scores after completing the course have improved and I do actually feel I can cope more easily. The course was easy to do, didn't take up loads of time and gave a sense of achievement. You only get out of it what you put into it. Tessa and Ed were easy to listen to and helped me feel at ease. I would recommend this to anyone prepared to put aside time most days to practice. I have found this course to be a fantastic introduction to mindfulness. The mix of videos, exercises and written tasks kept it interesting and it is pitched at the right level for beginners. I already feel that mindfulness has had a positive impact on my behaviour and stress levels. I am more aware of how my thoughts and feelings affect me and how I react in certain situations.

My name is Jane and I was recommended this course by my GP. I was vey sceptical about the course online and not face to face. The videos during the course really helped and the notifications by E mail prompted me to continue. The instructions were easy to follow and having the library to refer to was great. I now use mindfulness when I feel anxious especially at work.

Great introduction to mindfulness. I have gained an understanding of what mindfulness is, and the motivation to practice and develop my mindfulness. I am starting to be more mindful having done the course, and feel like I can manage stress better, so long as I remember to be mindful.

I found the Be Mindful online mindfulness course very beneficial to me. Having suffered from depression and anxiety for many years, with the course contents' guidance I learned how - and importantly, why - mindful meditation works to calm the mind, and how to build a buffer space between receiving mental challenges and reacting detrimentally to them. I have found this course very useful. It has come at an extremely challenging time in my life as I recuperate from septicaemia. The lack of energy and chronic fatigue has been very difficult to cope with and overcome, especially after my return to work. Mindfulness has played a very big part in my convalescence. I have very much appreciated the 'after care' aspect of the course, as it has reminded me that I am slowly but surely getting better in all sorts of ways. My practice continues to deepen and I believe I have found a tool for life.

I had some knowledge of mindfulness having read "The Happiness Trap" by Dr Russ Harris. The Be Mindful course was a refresher, but it also provided me with new tools, especially the 3-step Breathing Space exercise which I found very helpful in reducing stress levels. Daily practice is key to mindfulness and the course has motivated me to do this. Thank you for putting together this course.

This course has changed my life in a very positive way. Before I started I was running around in circles, stressed, anxious, not sleeping and suffering panic attacks at night. For me, the most powerful technique has been the breathing exercises. I do them in the morning, during the day, before I go to sleep and in the night if I wake up. The other nugget was learning that anxious moments are like "weather" passing through. Instead of re-acting, I now look at them with curious detachment. A huge thank you, F.
